History
1969
The need to transport agro-chemical products for the family business, made the company acquire trucks that would allow ensuring the best possible service to clients.
1973
During this year we started working as permisionaries linking Queretaro with México and Guadalajara, presenting a service option to the great demand of parcel and freight transportation, with a focus on the agro industry which was predominant at that time.
1976
The acquisition of Transportes Egoba with the Pacific route left us with 14 trailers and 4 tractors. This year we started offering services to the industry, starting operations with our oldest client: Grupo Vitro.
1982
We invest in dry vans, and flatbeds, and start offering dedicated services to the automobile industry, offering also export and freight movement to port services.
1988
With the acquisition of Auto Express Central de Lineas (including tractors, trailers and the Mexico-Nuevo Laredo route) in 1988, we consolidated as a company that specialized on the movement of freight from/to USA and Canada through the Nuevo Laredo Border; also offering domestic and dedicated freight services.
1992
Our head quarter offices are inaugurated in the City of Queretaro, which still operates and is one of the biggest of the country.
1994
Transportes Egoba and Auto Express Central de Lineas merged, as a result TRANSPORTADORA EGOBA, S.A. de C.V. is established; as a consequence of the merger a new image is created and an aggressive growth program, based on quality in our service is launched.
1995
Our Nuevo Laredo Tamps. Office is inaugurated being the biggest and most modern facilities of the area.
1998
The Government of the State of Queretaro presented Transportadora Egoba with the State Quality Award
1999
The “Instituto Mexicano de Normalización y Certificación (INMC)” certified us ISO 9002
2000
We launched our specially tailored software called STE, it is designed to control the administration and operation of all our processes.
2002
ISO 9002 certification was upgraded to ISO 9001:2000
We opened facilities in San Luis Potosi
2005
We inaugurated facilities at Monterrey, Guadalajara and Saltillo
2006
CTPAT & BASC certifications were obtained
2007
The Government of the state of Queretaro presented Transportadora Egoba with the 2007 Export State Award.
With the idea of attending the rising demand of freight transportation services in the area, we inaugurated our new facilities in San Luis Potosi which include modern offices and a capacity to hold 90 tractors and 180 trailers.
